Foreigners who wish to register their seal impression should file it with
the government office having jurisdiction over the area in which they are
ordinarily resident after completing their foreign resident registration
as provided under the Immigration Control Act.
Request for seal impression certificate issuance
To have one's seal impression certificate issued, the applicant should
present his/her resident registration card, driver's license or passport
(overseas Korean nationals should present either their
passport or overseas national registration card, while
foreign nationals should present their resident registration card).
