At present, no compulsory vaccinations are required to enter South Korea. It is advisable that all
family members are up-to-date on all basic immunizations, particularly for hepatitis a and hepatitis B,
diphtheria, tetanus, polio (DTP) and typhoid.
Tuberculosis is still quite prevalent in Korea. Therefore it is advisable to have a regular skin test.
As childhood immunization schedules vary from country to country, it is advisable to consult a
pediatrician for individual needs.
